This Privacy Policy explains how Sendpiper collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website, dashboard, connected social channels, Sendpiper Flow, and AI agent features.
1. Information we collect
We collect account information you provide directly (name, email, phone number, business details), data from the social channels you choose to connect (such as message content, comment metadata, and sender identifiers needed to deliver replies), content you upload to build an AI agent knowledge base (documents, FAQs, product information), and basic usage data about how you interact with the dashboard.
2. How we use channel data
Data from a connected channel — such as an incoming WhatsApp message, an Instagram comment, or a Messenger DM — is used solely to operate the Service on your behalf: routing it to your Sendpiper Flow, triggering a comment-to-DM response, or generating an AI agent reply. We do not sell this data or use it to train models for other customers.
3. AI agent knowledge bases
Content you upload to train your AI agent is used to generate responses within your own workspace only. It is not shared with or used to train agents for other Sendpiper accounts.
4. Sharing with connected platforms
To operate channel connections, Sendpiper exchanges data with the relevant platform (e.g. Meta for WhatsApp, Instagram, and Messenger; Telegram for bot connections) strictly to send and receive the messages your flows and AI agent generate.
5. Waitlist and contact information
If you join our waitlist, we collect your name and at least one contact method (email or phone) to notify you about access and product updates. If you opt in to email updates, we'll use your email for that purpose until you unsubscribe.
6. Data retention
We retain conversation history and account data for as long as your account is active, so your unified inbox stays useful. If you disconnect a channel, we stop accessing new data from it; past conversation history already stored in your workspace is retained until you delete it or close your account.
7. Data security
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect account credentials, channel access tokens, and knowledge base content from unauthorized access.
8. Your choices
You can disconnect a channel, delete uploaded knowledge base content, update your account details, or close your account at any time from your dashboard. You can also unsubscribe from email updates at any time.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date.
